Wills and Administration of Estates
A large section of the population has not as yet made Wills and it is extremely important to have a Will properly drawn up by an experienced solicitor so that your full wishes can be carried out on your death. Where no Will is in place it can also be more expensive as on most occasions the Executor has to apply for a Bond of Caution from an insurance company and the premium for this can be quite expensive. Also a Petition has to be presented to the Court to appoint an Executor. If a Will is made then the Executor is clearly named in the Will and it saves a great deal of time and inconvenience. A straightforward Will is not expensive.
